The U.S. National Hurricane Center said Wednesday morning that Lorenzo is located about 640 miles (1029 kilometers) west of the southernmost Cabo Verde Islands.
The storm was heading west-northwest at 17mph.
There is also Tropical Storm Jerry, which is forecast to pass near Bermuda early Wednesday, according to the NHC.
Tropical Storm Karen is about 240 miles north-northeast of San Juan.
Crews temporarily closed some coastal roads in southeastern Puerto Rico that became flooded after Karen hit Tuesday, leaving up to 29,000 customers without power at one point. This general motion is expected to continue this Wednesday morning.
Karen is the most interesting of the storms.
