'Birds of Prey' Trailer: Harley Quinn Lights It Up


Following on the heels of the ambiguously gorgeous "See You Soon" video, we're now getting our first real glimpse at Birds of Prey.

She's baaaack. Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn makes her triumphant return to the big screen in this first "Birds of Prey" trailer and she's leaving Joker very much in the past. "It's nothin without a master", Harley Quinn intones in a voiceover.

The trailer, which shares a lot of the visual styling of Suicide Squad, is narrated by Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, who explains that after breaking up with the Joker she's looking for a new direction in life. Those who attended screenings of It: Chapter Two (another Warner Bros. joint) will no doubt recognize some of the shots in today's sizzle reel, but this is still a dazzling, neon-drenched promo nonetheless, one which promises color, style, humor, and a whole lotta' mayhem. Now that she has a girl gang assembled to deal with some other bad guys in the criminal underworld of Gotham City, we're excited what she can do when she's the leader of the pack and going full tilt insane without The Joker keeping her on a leash.
