Microsoft Office app combines Word, Excel and PowerPoint into one app

The single download seems set to replace the separate Word, Excel and PowerPoint apps on both platforms even though Microsoft says it is "fully committed to supporting the existing Word, Excel, and PowerPoint mobile apps".

Office for mobile isn't ready for a wide release to the public, so Microsoft is making it available as a public preview.

The feature likely to get the most attention and positive feedback from users is the ability to access Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents all from the same app. "Doing so brings all of your Office documents together in one place, reduces the need to switch between multiple apps, and significantly reduces the amount of space used on your phone compared to multiple installed apps", Microsoft's Bill Doll said. For instance, you can snap the picture of a document and turn it into an editable word file, or transform tables from a printed page to Excel. Here is all you need to go. All three rank in the top 25 productivity apps on iOS, while each app has been downloaded over 1 billion times on Android.

Microsoft's new Office app will combine Word, Excel and PowerPoint into one app. So, if you attend a lot of lectures or meetings, this app could make it easier to grab notes without much effort. The app basically combines the functionality of the other three apps and will allow users to view and edit documents and presentations.

Netanyahu released a video Monday criticizing Gantz's supposed unwillingness to allow Likud to take the lead. Without Likud, Mr Gantz will have a hard time securing a majority in parliament.

But if you're looking for something similar but still stay within Microsoft's ecosystem - you'd be glad to know that the American company has created Microsoft Office, for mobile phones.

You can log in to your Microsoft account which will enable syncing as well.

As well as, the app also lets you just take notes, type of like you would in Google Retain. You even have the option of signing the created PDFs with your fingerprint before sending it across.
