And according to Variety, the app that Disney created for Androids and iPhones was downloaded 3.2 million times following its release yesterday.

Despite a glitchy launch, Disney+ seems like a hit. With the launch earlier this month of Apple's (AAPL) streaming service and then, this week, Disney's (DIS) Disney+, never before have there been so many services, offering a deluge of content, various bundles and countless add-ons. With properties including Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, Fox, and its decades of backlogs of acclaimed films and shows, Disney+ is able to compete on both levels of Quality and Quantity.

The Disney+ streaming library also comes with a collection of 100 Disney Channel Original Movies, all the Star Wars movies, more than a dozen of the Marvel films, the Pirates of the Caribbean films and even cult classics like Newsies.

From old favorites like "Boy Meets World" to new originals such as 'The Mandalorian'. The company also flagged off a global record when more than 25 Mn users simultaneously streamed one of the matches.

One analyst described the rate of sign-up in Disney+'s first day as "jaw-dropping".

In October, Disney and telecom provider Verizon Communications Inc announced a promotion that made all new and existing Verizon unlimited wireless customers, as well as new Fios and 5G home internet customers, eligible for a free, one-year subscription to Disney+.

I always felt positive with the trade and the front office. "I never went in with a negative mindset. That is the bone at the tip of the thumb, above the joint, and it is on Lowry's non-shooting hand.

Since launch, there have been numerous reports from folks in the U.S. and Canada about issues with logging in or launching videos or even just struggling to navigate the interface. Disney's initial forecasts had been to 60 - 90 million subscribers worldwide (with a third of that number in the US) by 2024 as they complete their initial roll-out phase.

The service confirmed the problems on Twitter, saying: "The demand for #DisneyPlus has exceeded our highest expectations".

Safe to say fans are pretty divided over Disney's decision to leave the films untouched. GamesRadar+ has contacted Disney Plus relations to ask for clarification.

Users spent 1.3 million hours watching it, Apptopia said, more than Amazon.com's Prime Video, but far less than the six million hours watched on Netflix.

A representative said that the series was only available on the Disney+ service.
