‘Ray Donovan’ Has Been Cancelled After Seven Seasons

"After seven incredible seasons, Ray Donovan has concluded its run on Showtime", Showtime said in the statement to PEOPLE. "We are proud that the series ended with such a strong audience and with such a strong note".

Last month, Showtime's Co-President of Entertainment Gary Levine admitted that the show was "nearing the end of its run". The news comes just weeks after the seventh season concluded on January 19.

All good things must come to an end.

Schreiber addressed the future of the series, saying, 'I know the big question on everyone's mind is whether there will be a season eight.

Showtime has canceled the long-running crime drama Ray Donovan, which recently concluded its seventh season. "Nothing has been decided yet but it's fair to say it is nearing the end", Levine said at the time.
