Royal wedding date and venue of Princess Beatrice

Although it is likely that Princess Beatrice does not get a duchess title in 2020, there is a small chance that Queen Elizabeth will grant her one.

On Friday, Eugenie, 29, posted a throwback photo of her and her sister, 31, as flower girls on Instagram, shortly after Buckingham Palace announced the details of Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's wedding.

Since then, the sisters' father Andrew, second son of Queen Elizabeth, has been caught up in a sex scandal over his relationship with disgraced former USA financier Jeffrey Epstein, culminating in his stepping down a year ago from royal duties. The fact that Her Majesty is hosting Beatrice's reception inside Buckingham Palace indicates that Beatrice will become more active in the coming years.

Britain's Princess Beatrice arrives for the wedding of Princess Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, near London, in 2018.

After weeks of anticipation, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mopelli Mozzi have finally set a location for their spring wedding.

The royals have yet to reveal details about the wedding, leaving fans to wonder if Princess Beatrice will be receiving a new title once she exchanges vows.

According to royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, who spoke with Express UK about the upcoming affair, the reason for the couple's low-key affair-which will not be televised-is because the Queen is trying to sidestep and avoid more scandal following a contentious few months for the royal family.

American evacuees from China quarantined at air base are 'happy'
China has reported thousands of infections and more than 200 deaths from the coronavirus since it was detected in December. A German air force jet left Wuhan to evacuate 130 people, 90 German citizens and around 40 citizens of other countries.

Well-wishers have been asked to forego gifts and instead find out more about the work of Big Change, founded by Beatrice and six friends to transform education, and Cricket Builds Hope, a British-Rwandan charity using cricket as a tool for social change that was co-founded by her husband-to-be.

Beatrice is the elder daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York, and sister to Princess Eugenie.

The ceremony will take place at the palace's Chapel Royal, and will be followed by a reception at Buckingham Palace, a spokesperson has confirmed.

Beatrice is ninth in line to the throne, and a cousin of the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex.

Mr Mapelli Mozzi, who is also a count, has a young son, Wolfie, from a previous relationship.

At the time of their engagement, the couple said, in a joint statement: "We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together".
