Be sure to tune in on May 7 at 8am PT/11am ET when Microsoft hosts its Xbox Series X gameplay showcase.

This year the phasing includes the effect of revenue recognition from the games we are launching for the current generation of consoles that can also be upgraded free for the next generation.

The June drop for Xbox 20/20 is still unannounced, but we're happy to confirm that Xbox will be a part of IGN's Summer of Gaming showcase next month, joining the likes of CD Projekt Red, EA, 2K and more to make brand new announcements with us.

That doesn't lock down that all of those games will be released on PC right at the same time as they hit Xbox, however that point is included with Microsoft's overall 2020 plans.

Since Microsoft doesn't have to cram all of its Xbox Series X announcements into a single event like E3, it's going to space them out over the course of the next few months instead.

Project xCloud will expand its service devices and area, the Xbox Game Pass for PC version will have first-party games at launch, and the Xbox Series X and Halo Infinite will release this holiday season.

The Xbox Series X team reveals a grand Xbox 20/20 plan to take on the PS5. "In July, we will dedicate time to focus on the incredible games coming from Xbox Game Studios", says West.

Even amid all of the chaos, the Xbox team has adjusted rather gracefully, dropping major news about the Xbox Series X throughout the month of March and even showing us what the console looks like inside and out.

I hope you'll join me at 8 a.m. PDT on May 7 for the next episode of Inside Xbox and the first moment of Xbox 20/20. The company's official website said it will be the first Xbox 20/20 video.

As you can see, the tweet was in reply to famous streamer Ninja getting nostalgic about his old Halo days (in a not-at-all-staged exchange on the social media platform).
