"Michigan voters can already request and complete an application, receive an absentee ballot, and mail in their absentee ballot - all without ever leaving their homes".
Trump appeared to be set off by an announcement Tuesday from Michigan's Democratic secretary of state, Jocelyn Benson, who said her office will mail an absentee ballot application to every voter in the state for August and November elections.

Both cases come as Simon and other state election officials race to prepare for an expected surge in absentee voting this year.
"I ask that while you are on tour you respect the great efforts of the men and women at Ford - and across this state - by wearing a facial covering", Nessel writes in the letter, adding that the President has a "legal responsibility" under state law to wear a mask as a coronavirus precaution.
"Absolutely. People have been voting by mail, including the president, for decades in this country in various states".
Many states have pushed to expand vote-by-mail options as a safer alternative in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak, sparking a growing partisan fight with Mr Trump and his Republican allies. The WEC also noted that technical issues resulted in over 2,000 requested absentee ballots not being sent to Milwaukee residents.
Last month, the Supreme Court refused to halt voting in the Wisconsin April 7 primary based on fears that in-person ballot would spread the CCP virus. Benson says Michiganders should have the opportunity to easily participate in the democratic process while avoiding public health risks.
Research has found there's no evidence that expanding absentee voting benefits one party over the other. Adams said some counties have early voting, some don't.
"We're asking if President Trump doesn't care about his own health, doesn't care about the health and the safety of people who work in those facilities, at least care about the economic situation of, you know, costing these facilities so much money by having to close down and disinfect the plant after he leaves", Nessel told CNN. With universal mail-in ballots, this could become an ugly, widesread reality. They are not sample ballots. Several voting machines will be available for walk-in voters. Left-wing activists say that just because a mail-in ballot comes back unvoted, that doesn't necessarily mean a crime was committed.

Those on the Left continue to reflexively reject the notion that voter fraud even exists.
