Do you think Patrick Mahomes will be able to provide at his current level for the next twelve years of his contract?

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs have reached agreement on a 10-year contract extension, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The moment that Mahomes' new extension becomes official, he will become not only the richest player in National Football League history, but he'll also boast the richest contract in sports history. That's in addition to the two remaining years Mahomes had on his contract, making it 12 total years of Mahomes in Kansas City. Mahomes and the Chiefs are fresh off the franchise's second Super Bowl victory, fueled by Mahomes' rise to becoming one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. The Chiefs traded up to select him 10th overall in the 2017 draft. Currently, the most expensive contract in the National Football League overall belongs to Matt Ryan of the Atlanta Falcons, who is playing on a five-year, $150 million contract.

Serena Williams and Alexis Olympia Were Twinning on the Tennis Court
Serena Williams last won the Australian Open where she beat her sister Venus Williams in the final and got a Grand Slam in 2017. Tennis superstar Serena Williams has passed on a love of tennis to her young daughter, Olympia.

What is interesting is the possibility Mahomes' monstrosity of a deal could be potentially tied to a set percentage of the salary cap, instead of a set yearly average.

Mahomes was owed $2.8 million for 2020 and $24.8 million for 2021.

Mahomes will sign a 10-year extension with the Chiefs.
