Sounds Like Samsung Will Stop Including Chargers with its Phones

According to EAP, Max Weinbach has corroborated this, apparently stating that engineers have reported back to Apple's executives with some bad news.

According to Sammobile, Samsung phones may ditch the charger next year as part of the accessories included in the box.

Last month, we heard reports that Apple is set to ship the iPhone 12 without a charger and EarPods, now it looks as though Samsung is preparing to do the same thing for at least some of its phones next year. The report suggests that the company is considering doing this because many people already have smartphone chargers and this will also help in reducing the costs and increase profit margins. This is because it is not uncommon to have multiple chargers around and it will be environmentally conscious not to add them in the box.

Canadian government projects deficit of $342 billion for 2020-21
As well as up to $85 billion in tax and customs duty payment deferrals to meet liquidity needs of businesses and families. The projection is part of Ottawa's economic fiscal snapshot, which is the first update since the start of the pandemic.

Rumors promises that Apple will start the typical Iphone 12 in two sizes this calendar year, with 5.4 and 6.1 inches, while the Iphone 12 Professional will be provided in 6.1 and 6.7 inches. The removal of chargers from phone bundles will greatly impact the companies that supply the chargers to Samsung.

Although chargers cost almost nothing for Samsung to produce, the fees add up with manufacturing packaging and shipping -as the boxes have to be larger in order to fit the charger.

Samsung is not the only major phone manufacturer considering not including a charger. Since then, other products and accessories made by Apple and its competitors have come with a lone USB-C or Lightning cable, but no power adapter. In such cases, consumers may prefer buying a charger separately, while the charger in the retail box might go unused.
