Johnny Depp claims Amber Heard once punched him for losing $750 million


Johnny Depp has said he did not intend to headbutt Amber Heard during an alleged heated row between the couple at their Los Angeles penthouse.

Ms Roberts also claimed that prior to the couple's marriage, Mr Depp was "outgoing, friendly and social", but that throughout their relationship there was a "distinct change" in the actor, and "the once social and animated person spent most days sleeping, became withdrawn".

In a further freakish twist, Ms Esparza said she saw Elon Musk, the Tesla and SpaceX billionaire, visiting Ms Heard in either June or July that year and learnt from a colleague he had been "visiting late at night when Mr Depp was away for more than a year".

Mr Depp replied: "No, sir". Heard filed for divorce 15 months later when she first said publicly that Depp had abused her and the divorce was finalised the following year.

She said she told a colleague in December 2015 that Heard was a "thrower - someone who threw projectiles".

She has claimed he was violent towards her on at least 14 occasions in various places around the world.

The actor is suing NGN and Mr Wootton over the publication of an article on April 27 2018 with the headline: "Gone Potty: How can JK Rowling be "genuinely happy" casting wife beater Johnny Depp in the new Fantastic Beasts film?"

Depp denies that he was violent toward Heard, to whom he was married from 2015 to 2017.

The court will next hear from ex-girlfriends Kate Moss, Winona Ryder and Vanessa Paradis, the mother of his children.
