Juventus v Lazio Match Report, 20/07/2020, Serie A

Ronaldo's double strike at home within three minutes in a 2-1 win meant Juventus could clinch a ninth straight league title this week.

Ronaldo scored against Lazio in the 51st and 54th minute of the match.

Ronaldo, who has scored 30 Serie A goals in 30 appearances to top the charts alongside Immobile, added: "We knew it was a very hard game against a team having a great season, but we knew this was a big opportunity to win, we were at home".

"Records are always important, but the important thing is that the team wins", Ronaldo told Sky Sport Italia post-game.

By scoring twice, Ronaldo also became the first player to score at least 50 goals in the Premier League, LaLiga and Serie A.

Both the Juventus goals came inside three minutes of the second half. "As for Paulo Dybala, we are discussing a renewal with his entourage, he is a very important player and can give us so much more in future".

Johnny Depp claims Amber Heard once punched him for losing $750 million
She alleged she saw Heard "lunge violently at Johnny , pull his hair, and commit other aggressive physical acts against him". The court will next hear from ex-girlfriends Kate Moss, Winona Ryder and Vanessa Paradis, the mother of his children.

Ronaldo is also the third player in Juventus' history to have scored 30 or more goals in a single Serie A season.

"We need to get another four points, every point is hard at the moment when we're playing every three days, so we've got to keep focused".

Lazio's hopes of a first Serie A title since 2000 are effectively over as the defeat leaves them fourth, 11 points adrift of the leaders.

Before the lockdown, only one point separated these two teams at the top of the table, but the gap has since opened up considerably.

Either side could have taken the lead in the first half, with both Alex Sandro and Ciro Immobile striking the woodwork and Adrien Rabiot forcing a good save from Thomas Strakosha. For United, he netted 118 goals in 292 games, while for Real, Ronaldo scored 450 goals in 438 games.

The five-time Ballon d'Or victor missed the chance of a hat-trick when his header hit the crossbar after 66 minutes.
